How long do the procedures take?
Our minimally invasive procedures generally take about 30-45 minutes.

Is there any "down time" after the procedures, or do I have to miss work?
No. Since the procedures are performed under local anesthesia, you will not experience any down time.

Do the procedures require anesthesia?
We perform the treatments under local anesthesia in our office.

After the procedures, how quickly can I return to normal activities?
Many patients are able to return to normal activities within a few days.

How soon will my symptoms improve after treatment?
Most patients notice an improvement in their symptoms within one to two weeks following treatment.

What can I expect after the procedure?
We require you to wear a compression stocking following treatment in order to get the best result from the procedures.

Are the procedures suitable for everyone?
We have been able to treat both women and men across a wide range of ages with chronic venous insufficiency safely and with excellent results.

Are the procedures covered by insurance?
Insurance will generally cover your procedure if we confirm with ultrasound that your symptoms are caused by chronic venous insufficiency.

Which insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare/Medicaid.

What if I can't afford my co-pay/deductible for the procedures?
We are happy to assist you obtaining CareCredit® to help manage costs not covered by insurance.
